Find healthcare locations, influenza clinics, medication list resources and support for personal care planning through the AHS app. Real-time wait times are also available for emergency departments in Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, and Red Deer.

Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant

Albertans, including patients, families and the public now have greater flexibility when wanting to get valuable information from Alberta Health Services (AHS). Voice activated personal assistants Amazon Alexa, and the Google Assistant application are now available to answer AHS specific voice commands, that include providing up-to-the-minute estimated emergency department wait times, influenza immunization clinic times and locations, and the latest AHS news.

If you have either smart-home system, Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant, you can ensure to stay current to better manage and maintain your health.

My Care Conversations

The My Care Conversations app is a smart phone application that will allow patients to record their conversations with their cancer care team to help reduce the stress and assist with recall and understanding. Patients and families that use the app will be empowered to take a more active role in their healthcare by being able to record and re-listen to their conversations.

Developed by Alberta Health Services’ Cardiovascular Health & Stroke Strategic Clinical Network (SCN), the MedHF iPhone app utilizes algorithms that support healthcare professionals in the initiation, titration, assessment and monitoring of 4 drug classes commonly used to treat heart failure.

WorkTrax

WorkTrax captures time spent providing standardized categories of patient care activities and also identifies how the pharmacy staff member interacted with the patient and/or their family. No patient identifying information is captured in the WorkTrax application. Interfacing between the web and mobile applications of WorkTrax allows users to report clinical workload data in either platform and view data in full.
